The David M Barton Agriculuture Research Center is just one of the many facilities used for hands-on learning and gives students experience in the following areas:

  • Crop Science - Students gain experience with corn, soybeans, wheat, forage, and cover crops while learning sustainable techniques that power the future of farming.
  • Animal Science -  Students assist with breeding, calving, and herd management under the direction of the farm manager and faculty.
